Alana Podwika began their work experience as a Pharmacist at Walgreens Pharmacy in May 1998 until June 2000. Following this, they joined Mountain Park Health Center in July 2000 as the Senior Director of Pharmacy and Clinical Informatics until June 2017. In June 2017, they transitioned within Mountain Park Health Center to the role of Chief Information Officer, where they continue to work.
Alana Podwika attended the Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained an MBA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix, starting in 2002 and completing it in 2004. Their undergraduate studies were conducted at the University of Pittsburgh from 1992 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.

Mountain Park Health Center Use a full-time cancer screening navigator and a variety of evidence-based interventions to effect system change and long-term sustainability. Expected outcomes include increasing the percentage of adults who had appropriate colorectal cancer screening rates to 50% or higher, as well as increasing the number of patientswith abnormal test results who were referred for follow-up care in a timely manner.
