Jim Hall

Jim Hall has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Jim started their career as a Network Engineer at Computers By Design in 1998. From 1999 to 2005, they worked as a Project Lead (Citrix) at Shriners Hospitals for Children, where they provided specialized care.

In 2005, they joined Dell as a Desktop Standardization Project Manager, leading the enterprise EMR standardization initiative for St. Joseph's Health System.

Jim then joined Banner Health in 2006 and held various roles including Senior Enterprise Network Analyst, IT Program Manager, IT Operations Director, and IT Director. In these positions, they managed a remote workforce, oversaw IT functions enterprise-wide, and led projects to improve infrastructure, data center operations, and service delivery. Jim achieved cost savings through optimization projects and improved customer satisfaction scores.

In 2017, they worked as the Interim CIO at Green Valley Hospital, where they managed the IT support functions for the hospital and oversaw the implementation of the Cerner CommunityWorks electronic health record system.

Since 2018, they have been working as the Director of Digital and Technology Services at Mountain Park Health Center, where they are responsible for IT infrastructure, service operations, cybersecurity, and vendor relationships. Jim Hall began their education at the University of South Florida in 1989, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems. Jim completed their studies in 1994.

Following their undergraduate degree, Jim furthered their education at the University of Tampa, John H. Sykes College of Business from 2002 to 2004. During this time, they earned a Master of Science degree in Business, Technology and Innovation Management.

In addition to their formal education, Jim obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2007, they became a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute. In 2017, they completed a course on "Project Management: Government Projects" through LinkedIn. In 2018, they obtained a certification in "Scrum: The Basics" from LinkedIn as well. Jim'smost recent certification is the "Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS)," which they obtained in March 2020 from HIMSS.

Jim also holds the certifications of "Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO)," but the date of obtaining this certification is unknown. Jim has also completed the "ITIL V3 Foundations" certification, but the details regarding the institution and date of completion are not provided.
