Volleyball Assistant Coach/Volleyball Camp Coach at Mountain View Volleyball Club

Kristjan Cortez has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare and sports industries. Kristjan began their career as a COPE Health Scholar at COPE Health Solutions, where they gained firsthand experience in clinical and administrative healthcare settings and assisted the care delivery team. Kristjan also worked as a Health Scholar at Providence. In addition to their healthcare roles, Kristjan served as a Volleyball Assistant Coach and Volleyball Camp Coach at Mountain View Volleyball Club, where they trained team members and coached players aged 12 to 18 in various skill levels. Kristjan also participated in a Shadow Program at Sutter Health - Palo Alto Medical Foundation, where they observed healthcare professionals and procedures. Prior to entering the healthcare field, Kristjan worked as a Recreation Lead at the City of Fremont.

Kristjan Cortez attended Saint Francis High School from 2014 to 2018. After completing high school, they enrolled in Rivier University for their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, which they pursued from 2018 to 2020. Upon finishing at Rivier University, Kristjan continued their education at Concordia University Irvine, where they studied Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies and earned their Bachelor of Science degree in 2022.
