Jason graduated from West Virginia University in 1998 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is a value-oriented project and personnel manager with experience in the design and construction of highway infrastructure, site work, coal processing, and natural gas site development. Jason has honed his skills in cost analysis and critical path method (CPM) scheduling while successfully managing relationships with the WVDOH, WVDEP, and various private and public entities.
Prior to starting work with Preston in 2008, he served as a Project Engineer and Area Engineer in District 4 of the WVDOH, where he managed several Project Engineers and Supervisors. He also evaluated project staff and was involved in CPM schedules for numerous highway construction projects totaling more than $36 million. Additionally, Jason has a broad knowledge base in construction materials testing and analysis, bid proposal preparation, and constructability analysis.
