Brett Varnell

Brett Varnell has over two decades of experience in safety and regulatory compliance within the energy sector. Currently serving as a Safety Representative at Mountaineer Gas Co since December 2018, Brett previously held the position of Compliance Officer at Union Oil & Gas from 2017 to December 2018. Prior to that, Brett worked as a Regulatory Compliance Specialist at Energy Corporation of America for a decade, where responsibilities included supervising DOT drivers, managing daily vehicle inspections, maintaining Driver Qualification files, and providing required annual training. Brett began a career in safety as a Safety Supervisor at H2s Safety Inc from June 1999 to August 2006. Education was completed at Duval High School.
