Mark Turner is an experienced healthcare executive with a robust background in leadership and finance. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Mountains Community Hospital since February 2022, Mark has previously held CEO positions at Capital Medical Center from September 2017 to March 2021 and San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital from July 2009 to September 2017, where involvement in the management of a 79-bed general acute care facility was significant. Prior to these roles, Mark accumulated extensive operational experience at Brim Healthcare, progressing from various roles to Senior Vice President of Operations over nearly two decades. Earlier in the career, Mark specialized in healthcare audit and consulting as a Certified Public Accountant with McGladrey & Pullen and Ernst and Whinney. Mark holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA from the Wisconsin School of Business.

Mountains Community Hospital is located in Lake Arrowhead, California. We are a full-service hospital with 17 medical/surgical beds, 6 of which are swing beds, and 20 Extended Care and Recovery beds. A physician staffs our Emergency Department 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for our local residents and visitors. MCH also provides a host of other community outreach programs. The range of services offered by Mountains Community Hospital is designed to provide essential medical care through a wide variety of programs to all who should need our assistance. Inpatient services include Medical/Surgical, Skilled Nursing, Post-acute Care Rehabilitation and Respite Care. In addition to our Emergency Services, outpatient diagnostic services include Laboratory, cardiac stress testing and Radiology (CT, ultrasound, bone densitometry, and mammography). Outpatient Rehabilitation Services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Licensed by the State of California, MCH is Medicare and Medi-Cal certified. We are one of the few small rural hospitals accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. MCH is proud of the quality of medical care it provides to our community and visitors.
