Dan Wharton has a diverse work experience. Dan currently holds the role of General Counsel at MountainSeed since March 2020. Prior to that, from September 2017 to March 2020, they worked as an Associate at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, specializing in commercial real estate. Before that, they pursued their Juris Doctor (J.D.) at The University of Alabama School of Law from 2014 to 2017, where they also served as an Online Editor for the Alabama Law Review. Dan has also worked as a Summer Associate at Clark & Sauer, LLC in 2015 and as a Research Assistant for Professor Fred Vars. Additionally, they have experience in teaching, having worked as an LSAT Substitute Instructor for Kaplan Test Preparation from September 2013 to May 2014. Dan started their career as an Intern at MountainSeed Appraisal Management in 2013 and as a Summer Financial Intern at Noritex, S.A in 2012, where they completed a project in budget construction and Excel formula design.

Dan Wharton attended Auburn University from 2010 to 2014, where they completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A) with a concentration in Finance. Afterward, they pursued further education at the University of Alabama School of Law from 2014 to 2017 and obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D) degree.
