Katherine Nugent

Katherine Nugent has a diverse work experience in the field of addiction recovery and community health. Katherine is currently working as an Addiction Recovery Coach at Mountainside since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Recovery Coach at the Department of Behavioral and Community Health from September 2021 to February 2022. Katherine also served as a Care Manager at CoveCare Center - Counseling & Wellness Management from February 2019 to December 2021. Before that, they worked as an Addiction Recovery Coach at The Prevention Council of Putnam from July 2018 to December 2021. Katherine's career in the field started as a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate at People USA from March 2016 to November 2018.

Katherine Nugent holds an Associates degree in Human Services, General from Dutchess Community College. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Certified Addictions Recovery Coach from Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery, Certified Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor in Training from NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services, Certified Narcan Trainer from Dutchess County Dept of Mental Hygiene, Certified Recovery Peer Advocate from ASAPNYS, and New York Certified Peer Specialist from Ny Peer Specialist Certification Board.
