Steve Matlaga

Steve Matlaga, CCM, CAM, currently serves as the GM/CEO at Mountaintop Golf & Lake Club since May 2022. With extensive experience in the country club and hospitality industry, Matlaga held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Williams Island Club, POA from May 2016 to January 2022, and previously worked as GM/CEO at Greensboro Country Club from January 2013 to December 2015. Earlier roles include GM/COO at DuPont Country Club and Gleneagles Country Club, and General Manager positions at The City Club of the Palm Beaches and Coral Ridge Yacht Club. Matlaga's foundational education includes an Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Microbiology and Immunobiology from Valencia College and the University of Central Florida.
