Ron Pittington

Ron Pittington has extensive experience in the poultry industry, currently serving as Director of Purchasing at Mountaire Farms since January 2010, overseeing operations from the corporate office in Millsboro, Delaware, for three large production complexes. Prior to this role, Ron held key positions including Director at Pilgrim's Pride and Purchasing Manager for the Foodservice Division at Tyson Foods, Inc., where responsibilities included managing purchasing for thirteen production complexes across eight states. Earlier career roles included Complex Purchasing Manager at Holly Farms Poultry and Purchasing Agent at Shen-Mar Foods, starting in the industry in 1970. Ron completed high school at Turner Ashby High School from 1973 to 1977.
