Darrin Layton

Darrin Layton has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Darrin currently serves as the President of Mountville Rubber Company, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to this, Darrin worked at Carlisle Spray Foam Insulation from July 2018 to March 2022, where they held the role of Director of Manufacturing. In this role, they oversaw manufacturing and operations for two plants and led cross-functional teams in areas such as supply chain, logistics, and quality. Before that, Darrin was the Plant Manager at Accella Performance Materials from March 2016 to July 2018, where they managed the largest Spray Foam Polyurethane Insulation and Roof Coatings plant in North America. Darrin also has experience at Tenneco as a Value Stream Manager, where they developed strategies for operations and supervised production.

Prior to their corporate experience, Darrin served in the United States Air Force from 1991 to 2015. Darrin held various roles during their time in the Air Force, including Airfield Operations Officer, Student Operations Officer, Instructor in the Air Battle Manager's Course, Instructor/Evaluator AWACS, and Range Control. In these roles, they demonstrated leadership skills in overseeing flight operations, managing facilities and equipment, implementing training programs, and directing safety and risk management strategies. Darrin received recognition for their performance, including being awarded the Air Education Training Command Flying Training Instructor of the Year and 19th AF Weapons Director of the Year.

Darrin Layton holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Capella University, which they acquired between 2009 and 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Liberal Studies from Excelsior University in the period between 1999 and 2002.
