Canaan Casteel

Canaan Casteel is a UI UX Designer currently employed at Mouser Electronics since August 2023. Canaan also serves as a Glassblowing Instructor at SiNaCa Studios since June 2021, focusing on creating unique experiences and developing strong relationships through hands-on glass skills demonstrations. Canaan completed a Springboard UI/UX Design Career Track certification in early 2023, accumulating over 700 hours of hands-on coursework and mastering various design skills. Previous roles include User Experience Designer at Apex | Proptech, where a navigational redesign for a digital floorplan creator was developed, and Art Teacher at Corpus Christi ISD, managing lesson plans and an after-school program for at-risk students. Canaan's instructional experience dates back to time spent as an Instructor at Dallas Glass Art. Canaan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Design and Visual Communications from The University of Texas at Arlington.
