Matt Beard

Matt Beard is a seasoned engineering leader currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Movable Ink, responsible for the AI-first personalization platform Da Vinci. Previously, Matt held the role of Head of Platform, Trust & Safety at Calendly, where Matt led the Platform Engineering organization focused on foundational services and fraud prevention. At ClickUp, Matt was Senior Director of Engineering, guiding teams in Customer Identity and Access Management, while at Salesforce, Matt held multiple senior director roles overseeing software engineering, compute platforms, and platform engineering, significantly enhancing service quality and technology modernization. With extensive experience at ExactTarget in UX Architecture and platform engineering, as well as earlier roles at Indeliq and Accenture, Matt's career demonstrates a strong emphasis on user experience, operational excellence, and engineering leadership. Matt earned an M.S. in Information and Communication Sciences and a B.S. in Entrepreneurship and Management Information Systems from Ball State University.
