Brima Ibrahim has a strong work experience in the engineering field. Brima began their career in 1996 as a Senior Systems Engineer at Uniden San Diego R&D Center. In 1998, they moved to Innovent Systems, where they worked as an Engineering Manager until 2000, when they were acquired by Broadcom. At Broadcom, Brima Ibrahim worked as a Senior Director of Systems Design Engineering, Fellow and Distinguished Engineer until 2016. In 2016, they joined NXP Semiconductors as a Fellow in the Office of the CTO, Security & Connectivity BU (Wireless Connectivity). Currently, they work as a Systems Engineer at Movandi since 2020.
Brima Ibrahim completed their PhD. in Communication Systems from King's College London between 1988 and 1996.
