Kyoungwoon Kim

Kyoungwoon Kim is a highly skilled Principal RFIC/mmWave Design Engineer at Movandi since June 2023, with previous experience as a Staff Engineer at Qualcomm focusing on 5G mm-wave IC chipset development from September 2019 to June 2023. Kyoungwoon held the position of Senior Engineer in Design Enablement at GLOBALFOUNDRIES from September 2016 to September 2019, specializing in RF/mm-wave IC design, including the creation of 28GHz PAs for 5G applications and various power cells for 4G LTE and WiFi using advanced semiconductor technologies. Academically, Kyoungwoon holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University, a Master's degree from Seoul National University, and a Bachelor's degree from Hanyang University.
