Shane Bentley

Shane Bentley has worked in the engineering industry for over 18 years. In 2002, they began working as a Senior ASIC Design Engineer at CISRA, where they were promoted to a Standard ASIC Design Engineer in 2003. In 2008, they worked as both a Hardware Engineer at DEK Technologies and an ASIC Design and Verification Engineer at Ericsson AB (Consultant). Shane then moved on to ST-Ericsson as an ASIC Design and Verification Engineer. From 2011 to 2014, they served as an FPGA Design and Verification Engineer at Ofidium. During this time, they also worked as a Senior ASIC Engineer at Nitero, where they implemented an 802. 11ad MAC/Phy and RF compliant chip set. In 2017, they joined AMD as a Principal Member of Technical Staff and a Senior Member of Technical Staff. Most recently, they have been working as a Director of Digital Engineering and a Senior Principal ASIC Design and Verification Engineer at Movandi since 2020.

Shane Bentley attended La Trobe University from 1997 to 2001, graduating with a Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) and a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering.
