Nirmal Thirumalai

Nirmal Thirumalai is an experienced professional with a career spanning over two decades in digital transformation and IT infrastructure. Currently serving as the Digital Transformation Officer and AI Leader at Movate since January 1998, Nirmal specializes in identifying impactful AI applications and leading pilot programs to validate AI models. Previous roles at Movate include Vice President & Associate Delivery Head, overseeing multi-geographic delivery with revenues of $50 million, and Associate Vice President - Cloud, Infra and Security, managing IT infrastructure and data center consolidation. Earlier experience includes a position as a Senior Engineer at both Movate and Redington India Ltd, handling various aspects of IT infrastructure. Nirmal possesses academic qualifications, holding an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Madras and a BCA in Computer Science from Madurai Kamaraj University.
