Valerie McNicholl

Valerie McNicholl, LCSW has extensive work experience in the field of counseling and mental health. Valerie currently serves as the Chief Operations Officer at Move Forward Counseling since January 2021. Prior to this, Valerie worked at Pennsylvania Counseling Services as an Outpatient Therapist from November 2014 to January 2021. Valerie also held the same role at Philhaven from February 2014 to November 2014.

Before their time at Pennsylvania Counseling Services and Philhaven, Valerie had a significant role at St. Peter's Health Partners. Valerie worked as an Education Specialist- LCSW from May 2011 to February 2014 and as a Senior Chemical Dependency Counselor from February 2007 to May 2011.

Valerie has also been involved in teaching and education. Valerie worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Cazenovia College from August 2013 to December 2013.

Valerie has also obtained various certifications, including Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) from the Pennsylvania Certification Board in 2014, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the Commonweath of PA Department of State in 2013, Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) from the NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services in 2012, and another LCSW license from the NYS Department of Education in 2006.
