Jacob Hesselballe

Jacob Hesselballe has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jacob currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Move Innovation, a role they have been in since October 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Project Manager at the same company from August 2018 to October 2020.

Before joining Move Innovation, Jacob held the position of Head of Department, Blue Control at Robotek Group A/S from June 2017 to July 2018. Jacob was also a Member of the Board at Danish Water Forum from October 2017 to May 2018.

Jacob's previous role was as the Head of Development at Dansk Retursystem A/S, a position they held from September 2011 to June 2017. Their responsibilities included handling interdisciplinary projects and coordinating multiple departments within the organization.

Jacob's earlier experience includes various roles at PETERSEN-BACH A/S, where they served as Head of Development and Business Development from September 2004 to October 2008, Head of Support and IT from September 1998 to August 2004, and Support Engineer from October 1995 to August 1998. During their time at PETERSEN-BACH A/S, Jacob played a crucial role in developing the company's own product range, optimizing IT operations, and strengthening the technical level of the company.

Jacob started their career as a Technician at Terma from February 1989 to August 1990, where they worked in the test department and collaborated closely with quality control and engineering teams.

Jacob Hesselballe's education history includes a BEng degree in Electronics from the Engineering College of Aarhus (1989-1993), an A-Level degree in Mathematics from Odder Gymnasium (1985-1988), and an internal management programme from Dansk Retursystem A/S (2012-2014). Jacob also holds a certification in Prince 2 - Project Management from the APM Group.
