Lucia Gore

Lucia Gore has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Lucia is currently working as a Web Developer and UX Designer at MoveGenius and as the Head of Operations at Vento, both starting in 2022.

Prior to these roles, Lucia served as a User Experience Designer at GlobalLogic UK&I from September 2020 to August 2022. Lucia also worked as a Senior User Experience Designer at Livingstone Group from May 2021 to July 2021 and as a User Experience Designer at Vodafone from September 2020 to March 2021.

Before transitioning to UX design, Lucia gained experience in software development. Lucia worked as a Full Stack Developer at ECS Digital from September 2018 to September 2020 and at HSBC from August 2019 to July 2020. Lucia also had a contract role as a Full Stack Developer at The Times from October 2018 to August 2019, where they focused on improving quality and lead time.

Lucia's career in technology started after completing Makers Academy, an immersive web development bootcamp, in London. During their time there from May 2018 to August 2018, they gained experience in JavaScript, React Native, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and Java, as well as knowledge in TDD, SOLID principles, DRY, Agile development, pair programming, and XP Values.

Lucia Gore graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Exeter, where they attended from 2012 to 2015. Lucia completed their secondary education at Oundle School from 2006 to 2011, although the specific degree or field of study is not provided. In terms of additional certifications, Lucia obtained a Professional Diploma in UX Design from the UX Design Institute in May 2020. Lucia also received certification as an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from AWS Elemental, an Amazon Web Services Company, in March 2019. Most recently, Lucia became a Kozi Course Graduate in February 2021.
