Uthvag Sakthivel

Uthvag Sakthivel is a skilled research engineer currently employed at Movella since March 2022, focusing on prototyping and algorithm development for wearable biomedical sensors. Prior experience includes a research internship at Xsens, where Uthvag worked on signal processing and machine learning algorithms for biomedical signals, and a scientific consultant role at Thiagarajar Telekom Solutions Limited, developing a DSP algorithm for GPS jammer mitigation. Additionally, Uthvag gained experience in circuit and PCB design for surgical systems during an internship at the University of Twente and served as the electronics/science team lead for the RUDRA - SRM Mars Rover project. Uthvag holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Biomedical Signals and Systems from the University of Twente and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from SRM IST Chennai.
