Dr. Douglas J. Hoogendyk

Dr. Douglas J. Hoogendyk is a highly experienced physical therapist and founder of BaselineAPS™, a software platform launched in 2023. Currently serving as the President of Movement Health Science, Dr. Hoogendyk previously held the role of Founder and CEO at both Movement Health Science from 2019 to 2022 and CADENCE MOVEMENT SCIENCE from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, Dr. Hoogendyk has a notable background as a Senior Physical Therapist and Department Lead at the Movement Performance Institute, associated with the University of Southern California. Contributions to professional sports include serving as Medical Staff Physical Therapist for the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour and practicing at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation and the Hospital for Special Surgery, both recognized for excellence in rehabilitation and orthopedic care, respectively. Dr. Hoogendyk’s academic credentials include a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Widener University and advanced training in biomechanics and orthopedic physical therapy from the University of Southern California.
