Joshua Stephens

Joshua Stephens has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. Joshua has recently worked at Movement Labs as a Deputy Organizing Director and as a Contractor. Prior to that, they served as the Deputy Executive Director at The South Carolina Democratic Party, where they oversaw the administration of the organization and maintained partnerships with various stakeholders. Joshua also worked as a Voter Registration Regional Organizing Director and a Voter Registration Organizer. Joshua has also worked at the Democratic Party of Georgia and The South Carolina Democratic Party as a Regional Organizing Director.

Before their political roles, Joshua gained experience as a Field Organizer for U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren, where they managed teams of volunteers, organized events, and conducted voter outreach. Joshua also served as a Team Leader/Teacher with AmeriCorps, focusing on improving educational outcomes in urban communities. Additionally, they worked as a Field Organizer for Randall Woodfin's mayoral campaign, engaging with residents and coordinating campaign events. Joshua's earlier experience includes serving as a Resident Assistant at the University of West Georgia and Teacher Assistant at Georgia State University.

Joshua Stephens completed their Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies at the University of West Georgia from 2009 to 2015. In 2018, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at the University of Phoenix, though the specific field of study was not mentioned. Additionally, Joshua obtained a certification in Discipline Specific Writing from the University of West Georgia in December 2014.
