Edgar Melendez

Edgar Melendez has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Edgar is currently the VP of Engineering at Movement Mortgage since 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Technology at Intercontinental Capital Group from 2016 to 2021, and then transitioned to become the Director of IT until 2023. Before joining Intercontinental Capital Group, Edgar worked at LendingTree in various software development roles, including Director of Software Development, Software Development Manager, Lead Software Developer, Senior Software Developer, and Web Developer between 2006 and 2016. Edgar also has experience with web services and web development at Meta-Logix and Hair Club for Men. Edgar began their career as a Supply Chain Analyst at Office Depot in 1998.

Edgar Melendez attended Atlantic from 1994 to 1997 but did not obtain a degree. Edgar then went on to Palm Beach Community College where they earned an Associate Degree. In 2014, Edgar obtained a certification as a CIW Web Foundations Associate from CIW.
