Kang Ahn

Crystal grew up predominantly around immigrant communities and has worked in education, faith, and community-building. They joined Movement Talent because they want to mobilize and help create equitable hiring practices for those on the frontlines of justice work. They practice liberative storytelling and artmaking as a way to empower themselves and others, especially their two young children for whom they strive to create change in the world.

Crystal has a background in philosophy and theology. They grew up in the Bay Area and currently live in Albany Park, Chicago.
