Fred Gilbert has a strong background in physical therapy and has worked in various roles since 2011. Fred began their career at Lakeshore Foundation as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they were involved in DRRP, Rectech, and general research projects. Fred also assisted with data collection for the US Mens Wheelchair Rugby team and organized the NAFAPA 2012 Conference in Birmingham, AL.

In 2016, Fred joined Focus Physiotherapy as a Physical Therapist and worked there until 2018. During their time at Focus Physiotherapy, they gained experience in providing physical therapy treatments and services.

In 2018, Fred took on two roles simultaneously. Fred became a Physical Therapist at Inova Health System from February to November 2018. In March 2018, they also became the Chief People Officer at MovementX.

Fred then pursued their Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, specializing in Physical Therapy/Therapist, which they earned from 2013 to 2015. In order to further their expertise, they completed an NAIOMT Orthopedic Residency at Andrews University from 2016 to 2017.
