Katie Waters

Katie Waters, PT, DPT, is a seasoned physical therapist with extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics. Currently employed at MovementX since June 2024, Katie previously held a physical therapist position at Austin Sports Medicine from January 2020 to May 2024 and at ProActive Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine from July 2018 to October 2019. Katie's early career includes multiple student physical therapist roles, with practical training in outpatient, sports, worker's compensation, and acute care settings. Educationally, Katie earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Hardin-Simmons University in 2017, following a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Psychology from the same institution in 2015. Prior to entering the field of physical therapy, Katie gained coaching experience at Texas A&M University and Hardin-Simmons University during summer soccer camps.
