Kenshayla Jackson has had a diverse work experience, beginning in 2016 as a Lean Six Sigma Project Manager at Emory Healthcare Brain Health Center. In 2017, they moved to CM Hospitality Carpets as a Graphic Designer. In 2018, they took on the role of Traffic Manager at CreativeDrive. In 2019, they became a University Professor at Kennesaw State University School of Art and Design. In 2020, they were a Project Manager at Adrenaline Agency. In 2021, they became an Assistant Fashion Designer at Target. Finally, in 2022, they became a Project Manager at Movers+Shakers. Kenshayla has also been an Independent Entrepreneur and Business Owner at Sort of Wild, LLC since 2014.
Kenshayla Jackson obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) from Southern Polytechnic State University in 2014, with a minor in Business Administration, Management and Operations. Kenshayla then went on to receive their Master of Science (M.S.) from Kennesaw State University in 2017, with a field of study in Quality Assurance. In the same year, they obtained their Black Belt Certification in Lean Six Sigma from Kennesaw State University - Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology. Additionally, they obtained their Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) certification from the same institution in December 2017. In 2018, they received their Certification in Garment Construction and Fashion Design from Le Fashion Lab, in the field of Fashion/Apparel Design.
