Julien Lebleu

Phd, Clinical Innovation Lead at moveUP

Julien Lebleu has a diverse work experience. Julien is currently working as the Lead research and clinical development at moveUP - medical devices for patient pathways since October 2020. Julien also holds the role of Administrateur at Société Scientifique Francophone de Kinésithérapie since January 2020. In addition, they are a Formateur et consultant pédagogique at Formation continue en kinésithérapie since September 2018. Julien has also worked as a Consultant pédagogique at Louvain Learning Lab from September 2021 to September 2022. Julien has conducted research as a Chercheur at IT4Anxiety from January 2021 to January 2022, and as a Postdoctoral researcher at Vrije Universiteit Brussel from September 2020 to September 2021. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Kinésithérapeute at Promosport ASBL and Ligue belge francophone d'athlétisme, and as a Doctorant at Université catholique de Louvain. Julien also has experience as a Research Intern at Polytechnique Montréal.

Julien Lebleu began their education at the Institut Saint-Henri Comines, where they completed their general secondary education with a focus on Math-Sciences from 2001 to 2007. Julien then went on to the Université catholique de Louvain, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Kinesiotherapy and Rehabilitation in 2011. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Kinesiotherapy for Sports from 2011 to 2012 at the same university. Julien Lebleu continued their studies at the Université catholique de Louvain, completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Kinesiotherapy from 2015 to 2020. During this time, they also obtained several additional certifications, including a University Certificate in Manual Therapy from 2015 to 2017 and a University Certificate in Analyzing Supervision Practices in Higher Education from 2017 to 2018. Furthermore, they participated in training in pedagogy at Louvain Learning Lab from 2015 to 2017 and attended an introductory workshop on theatrical improvisation at the Belgian Federation of Amateur Improvisation in 2018.
