Michel Lamarre

Michel Lamarre has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 1992, they started their career as an Area Engineer at Tomago Aluminium Smelter in Australia. Michel later became an Area Manager at Hillside Smelter. From 1996 to 1999, they worked as a Project Manager for the Goro Nickel Project. In 1999, they took on the role of Project Manager for the Hillside 3 Expansion Project. In 2004, they became a Senior Project Manager for the Goro Nickel Project and also worked as a Project Manager for the Definitive Feasibility Study. In 2007, they joined Rio Tinto where they served as the Project Director for the Kitimat Modernization Project until 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Consultant at Newcrest Mining, followed by a role as the Managing Director at Stratagem Consulting - Global Project Delivery Services. In the same year, they also became the Director and Co-Founder of MOVUS, a specialist consultancy focused on smart asset decisions. Currently, they hold the position of Principal at Flagstaff Consulting Group.

Michel Lamarre attended the University du Quebec a Trois-Rivieres from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree. Michel also attended the Université du Québec in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada from 1984 to 1987, where they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B. Eng.).
