Jørn I. Berg

Jørn I. Berg has extensive experience in IT management and program/project management. Jørn I. is currently the Group IT Director (~CIO) at Mowi since August 2020. Prior to that, they held various roles at Mowi, including Group IT Applications Manager from April 2016 to August 2020.

In their previous positions, Jørn worked at Orkla ASA as a Program Manager from July 2013 to March 2016, where they successfully implemented large and complex SAP projects. Jørn I. was responsible for the integration of Beauvais and Rieber & Søn businesses, replacing legacy ERP systems with one SAP solution for Denmark and Norway. Jørn I. also managed the Cosmos program, integrating independent businesses into a common SAP ERP solution for Confectionary & Snacks in the Nordic region. Furthermore, Jørn was involved in the integration of Stabburet and Rieber & Søn field sales organizations, supporting the implementation of a new sales organization and processes based on Bain & Company's methodology.

Before their time at Orkla ASA, Jørn worked at Rieber & Søn ASA from 2002 to 2013. Jørn I. held roles as a Program Manager, Project Manager, and Organization Development & Training specialist. During their time there, they implemented various solutions such as a mobile CRM system, sales and operations planning (S&OP), SAP CRM, and an intranet portal across international geographies.

Jørn also worked at eLoyalty as a Principal Consultant from 2001 to 2002, where they provided CRM consulting and management consulting services. Jørn I. specialized in sales force automation and functional consulting on Siebel CRM solutions.

Earlier in their career, Jørn worked at Novell as the Manager of Sales Planning and Analysis from 1999 to 2001. In this role, they led the strategic planning process and oversaw the implementation of new sales information systems in EMEA.

Jørn I. Berg completed a Bachelor's degree in International Marketing and Organization from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in 1996. Jørn I. also obtained a Master's degree in Organizational Behavior from Brigham Young University between 1997 and 1999. In 1992, they briefly studied Russian at UiT- The Arctic University of Norway. In 2014, Jørn I. Berg obtained a certification in PROSCI Change Management from Prosci.
