Øyvind Oaland

Øyvind Oaland is the current Global Director for Research and Development at Mowi. Prior to this, they served as a Member Board of Directors for the Aquaculture Stewardship Council from May 2019 to May 2022. Øyvind has also held positions as Global Director R&D and Technical for Marine Harvest Group from June 2000 to December 2018, and as a research scientist for Mowi.

Øyvind Oaland attended Harvard Business School, where they studied innovation and organizational leadership. Øyvind then went on to study veterinary medicine at the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science.

Øyvind Oaland reports to Ivan Vindheim, CEO. They work with Fernando Villarroel - COO, Farming Americas, Atle Kvist - COO Feed, and Ola Brattvoll - COO, Sales & Marketing.
