Teis Knudsen

Teis Knudsen has extensive work experience in the seafood industry, with a focus on supply chain management and processing. Teis is currently the Managing Director of Global Processing Excellence at Mowi, a position they have held since January 2021. Previously, Teis served as the Managing Director of Supply Chain Central Europe at Mowi, starting in January 2019 and ending in January 2021. Prior to their time at Mowi, they worked at Teico APS as the owner, starting in October 2006. Teis also held various positions at Marine Harvest ASA, including Managing Director of Supply Chain Central Europe from January 2015 to December 2018. Before that, they were the COO Processing at Morpol ASA from January 2014 to December 2014. Teis also served as the Managing Director at Espersen Polska Sp. z.o.o. from January 2011 to December 2013, and as Director at Danforel A/S from January 2007 to December 2010. Teis gained valuable experience at Royal Greenland Seafood A/S, where they served as Director Production from January 2000 to December 2006, Managing Director from June 1996 to December 1999, and Factory Manager from April 1993 to May 1996. Teis began their career at A. Espersen A/S as a Technical Manager from April 1990 to March 1993, and at KTU as a Technical Manager from March 1987 to March 1990.

Teis Knudsen completed their education in Advanced Business Development at the Center for Ledelse / INSEAD in 2006-2007. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Marine Engineering from Esbjer Masinmesterskole during 1980-1985.
