Tom Horsey

Co-Founder & Board Member at Mox

Tom Horsey has extensive experience in the startup ecosystem and investment industry. Tom is currently serving as the Managing Partner at Eoniq.fund, an early-stage investment fund that focuses on startups in Spain, with a preference for those outside of Madrid and Barcelona. Prior to this, Tom co-founded and served as Director of StartupLabs Malta, an accelerator program supporting startups in their growth stages. Tom also co-founded Mox and was a Board Member of Connected Mobility HUB, both of which aimed to accelerate startups in the smart mobility sector. Tom has also co-founded StartupLabs Spain, an accelerator program providing mentoring in various fields to startups in Seville and Malaga. Additionally, they have served as a Member of the Investment Selection Committee at Angels Capital and as a Board Member of BIGBAN - Inversores Privados, an association of private investors and business angels. Tom has also worked as a Mentor at Bind 4.0, an accelerator program focused on creating open innovation pilots between startups and industrial partner companies. Furthermore, they have served as an evaluator for the H2020 SME Instrument at the European Commission and as an expert evaluator for the Eureka Eurostars Program, which supports research-performing SMEs.

Tom Horsey attended Aston University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a BSc Hons degree in Managerial and Administrative Studies.
