Elise Saxon

Elise Saxon is a seasoned data engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer and Technical Lead at Moz since September 2023. Previously, Elise held the position of Senior Data Engineer at MURAL from January 2022 to June 2023, where responsibilities included creating and maintaining over 20 ETL pipelines, which enhanced expertise in handling PII and designing complex data solutions. Prior experience includes working as a Data Systems Engineer II at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory from August 2018 to December 2021, where Elise was involved in both data engineering and data science across 19 different projects. In earlier roles, Elise contributed as a Lead Computer Science Tutor for the ACM Mentor Program and completed an internship as a Software Development Intern at Faithlife, while also gaining customer service experience through various barista positions. Educational qualifications include Bachelor's Degrees in Spanish and Computer Science from Western Washington University.
