Maddie Shears has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Maddie started their career as an Inpatient Receptionist at MercyAscot Private Hospitals in 2012, where they were responsible for administrative tasks and patient well-being. In 2014, they worked as a Vacation Specialist for Mammoth Resorts, providing customer service and booking accommodations and activities for guests.

In 2015, Maddie joined IEP as a Program Coordinator, managing working holiday programs for young adults in the USA and Japan. Maddie provided support and assistance to participants before and during their trips.

From 2017 to 2019, they were an Activation Manager at Conqa Construction Software, where they worked as a post-sales client relationship manager for a cloud-based SaaS tech platform for the construction industry.

In 2019, Maddie took on a role as a Guest Service Team Lead at Panorama Mountain Resort, where they were responsible for concession sales, lift passes, and activities. Maddie also provided information and assistance to guests.

Currently, Maddie is working at Moz. Maddie initially joined as an Onboarding Specialist, where they interacted with customers and focused on Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Since November 2021, they have been serving as a Growth Account Manager, building strategic relationships with mid-market customers and ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and growth.

Overall, Maddie has gained extensive experience in customer service, relationship management, program coordination, and administrative tasks throughout their career.

Maddie Shears attended Auckland University of Technology from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Design degree with a specialization in Spatial Design. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in STAT Fundamentals from STAT Search Analytics in November 2021, and in SEO Essentials from Moz in October 2019.
