Sergio Mejicanos-Palencia

Sergio Mejicanos-Palencia has held various roles in the tech industry since 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Metro Property Services, LLC as a Maintenance/Janitorial, where they were responsible for general cleaning and maintenance for a 3500 sq. ft. commercial property. In 2015, they joined F5 Networks as an IT QA Engineer I, where they took ownership of scheduled and on-demand automated test runs, logged defects and provided steps to reproduce, and analyzed and inventoried existing web property. In 2016, they joined Moz as a Software Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer II, Quality Assurance Engineer 1, Office Organizer, and Test Engineer.

Sergio Mejicanos-Palencia attended Garfield High School from 2008 to 2012, graduating with a High School degree. Sergio then attended Seattle Central College from 2012 to 2016, studying Computer Science. Additionally, they attended Bellevue College in 2015 and 2016 as part of the Year Up Program. In 2015, they obtained a Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel certification from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business, and in the same year, they also obtained a Microsoft Technology Associates: Network Fundamentals certification from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business.
