Doreen Brown-Wade RN, BSN, MBA, CPHQ has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. From 2011 to 2014, they served as the Hospice Director at Masonicare Home Health and Hospice, where they were responsible for directing hospice and palliative care services and managing operations. In 2015, they joined Jewish Senior Services as the Director of Home Care & Hospice. In this role, they oversaw the operations and financial performance of home care, hospice, and private duty units, ensuring compliance with regulations and implementing quality assurance and process improvement efforts. Doreen also established valuable relationships with referral sources, such as hospitals and specialty care physicians.
Doreen Brown-Wade has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Doreen also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business, Executive Program from Anna Maria College. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from the National Association for Healthcare Quality in December 1995. Doreen also has a Connecticut Registered Nurse License and a Massachusetts Registered Nursing License, both from the respective state institutions.
