Mireille Akilian

Mireille Akilian is a seasoned leader in research and development with extensive experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as Global Vice President of Research and Development at Mozarc Medical, Mireille successfully transitioned over 500 R&D team members from Medtronic while establishing new functions and enhancing operational efficiency. Previously, Mireille held various roles at Medtronic, including Vice President of R&D in Renal Care Solutions and Sr. Director of Engineering for Gynecologic Health, where significant contributions were made to home dialysis innovations and mechanical hysteroscopic systems. Mireille's earlier career included leadership positions at Smith+Nephew and technical roles at Exponent Failure Analysis Associates, focusing on product development and engineering. With a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, Mireille combines a strong technical background with strategic oversight in product development and team management.
