Alexander Zimmerman possesses a diverse background in technology and library sciences. Currently serving as the CRM Tools Manager at Mozilla since August 2018, Alexander has progressed through various roles related to CRM tools, email administration, and production coordination. Previous experience includes a web developer position at Farm Fresh RI from March 2015 to March 2020, and software engineering at Newforma, where full LAMP stack web development was performed within an Agile team. In earlier roles at Local Thunder, responsibilities encompassed the entire software development cycle as a web developer/programmer, and library management experience was gained as a branch librarian at both Providence Public Library and Portland Public Library. Alexander holds an AAS in Computer Technology from Southern Maine Community College, an MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh, and a BA in Literature and Creative Writing from Bates College.
