Anna Scholtz

Anna Scholtz is an accomplished Senior Staff Data Engineer at Mozilla since January 2020, where significant contributions include leading the development of strategic roadmaps for the data platform, optimizing cloud costs, and managing a telemetry ingestion pipeline processing over 80 TB of data daily. Prior to this role, Anna served as a Staff Data Engineer and Senior Data Engineer, where key achievements included developing custom ETL tooling and implementing an experimentation platform that doubled the annual experiment volume. Previous experiences at The University of British Columbia as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and internships at Mozilla and other tech companies has solidified a robust foundation in data engineering, software development, and education. Anna holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science from Technische Universität Chemnitz.
