Ayah Bdeir serves as a Senior Strategic Advisor to the President at Mozilla since March 2023, focusing on AI strategy and fostering collaborations across various Mozilla entities to advance open and trustworthy AI. Bdeir is a Board Member for The Fund for Public Schools, supporting public education in New York City, and has held the position of Senior Fellow with TED Conferences since February 2012. As a Venture Partner at E14 Fund, Bdeir contributed to identifying and supporting early-stage startups. Bdeir founded and served as CEO of littleBits, an influential STEAM education company with significant revenue and partnerships. Furthermore, Bdeir co-founded the Open Source Hardware Association and has held various fellowships and mentoring roles in technology and education throughout the career, alongside teaching as an adjunct faculty member at New York University. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
