Ben Visness

Ben Visness is a Senior Software Engineer at Mozilla, contributing to the WebAssembly team within Firefox since November 2022 and actively participating in the WebAssembly community group. Simultaneously, Ben serves as Community Lead for Handmade Network, where leadership involves organizing global events aimed at improving the software industry. As Lead Mentor for The Fighting Calculators (FIRST Robotics Competition Team 2175), Ben supports high school students in robotics through mentorship and training. Previous roles include Senior Full Stack Engineer and related positions at When I Work, where development focused on core services and developer tools. Ben began educational involvement as a Teaching Assistant at Bethel University while earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same institution.
