Edgar Chen

Edgar Chen is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in telecommunications and networking. Since July 2018, Edgar has served as a Staff Software Engineer at Mozilla, contributing to the DOM team by implementing custom elements and addressing bug fixes. Prior to this role, Edgar worked at Mozilla from November 2012 to January 2018, where responsibilities included ownership of the RIL module and co-ownership of the Emulator module, as well as participation in telephony development for the Boot2Gecko project (Firefox OS). Edgar's earlier experience includes a Senior System Software Engineer position at HTC from October 2009 to October 2012, where development focused on core networking modules and the WiMAX framework for Android systems, notably contributing to the HTC EVO 4G project. Edgar holds a Master of Science in Embedded Systems and Networking from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Yuan Ze University.
