Ilana Segall

Ilana Segall is a seasoned data scientist currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist for Mozilla Applied Machine Learning since April 2012, where major contributions include work on Federated Learning for Quantum Bar search results and research in privacy-preserving learning methods and security. Prior to Mozilla, Ilana held a position as a statistics and data mining enthusiast at Vurve and completed internships at Cisco, Akamai Technologies, and Deitel & Associates. Ilana's academic background includes a Master's degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical and Computational Science, both earned from Stanford University.
