Jacob Ervin

Jacob Ervin is a seasoned technical product manager and engineering leader with a focus on augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies. Currently, Jacob serves as a Technical Product Manager and Hubs Lead at Mozilla, following a successful tenure as Co-Founder and CEO of Active Replica, a company specializing in virtual gathering spaces that was acquired by Mozilla in 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Technical Program Manager at Occipital, where Jacob led the development of AR/VR products, and software engineering positions at Liminal AR, Metaio, HIT Lab NZ, and Roam 3 Civil Defence, contributing to various innovative AR applications and systems. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science in Digital Art and Design from Full Sail University.
