Jibu Elias currently serves as the Country Lead for India in Responsible Computing at Mozilla, where efforts focus on integrating ethics into computer science education through the Responsible Computing Challenge. Additionally, Jibu is a Responsible AI Fellow at The Stimson Center, collaborating with Microsoft's Office of Responsible AI to assess AI impacts in developing countries. Jibu is also involved with OECD.AI, contributing as both a member of the Working Party on AI Governance and as an expert in AI classification and policy. As the founding editor of the AI & Ethics Journal at Springer Nature, Jibu promotes discussions on the ethical implications of AI development. Further responsibilities include serving as a Board Expert for Fidutam, a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Future Council on AI, and an Executive Fellow at Woxsen University. Jibu has previously held roles at NASSCOM and INDIAai, leading significant projects in the AI space. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in International Relations from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree in History from Loyola College.
