Jim Blandy is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in debugging and version control systems. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Mozilla Corporation since January 2008, Jim works on the SpiderMonkey JavaScript interpreter. Prior to this, Jim held positions at CodeSourcery, Red Hat, Inc., and Cygnus Solutions, where contributions included porting GDB to new architectures and co-designing the Subversion version control system. Jim also served as the head maintainer of Guile at the Free Software Foundation and founded Cyclic Software, which released the first public version of network-transparent CVS. Jim holds a BA in Computer Science from Oberlin College, awarded in 1990.
