Chief Marketing Officer

As Chief Marketing Officer, John is responsible for leading the company’s global marketing, communications, and brand efforts.

John brings more than two decades of experience building purpose-driven brands and high-performing teams across technology, wellness, and consumer products. Most recently, he served as CMO at Therabody, where he helped redefine and scale the company into a category-leading wellness brand and was named to Forbes 50 Most Entrepreneurial CMOs for 2025.

Prior to Therabody, John spent more than eight years at Apple, working first with Beats by Dre before its acquisition and later as part of Apple’s Marcom leadership team. At Beats, he contributed to culturally defining marketing moments that helped the brand scale globally and establish itself as a category disruptor. Following the acquisition, he joined Apple’s worldwide marketing organization, where he worked on several of the company’s most iconic campaigns and helped launch key digital services, including Apple Fitness+ and Apple TV+. Earlier in his career, John founded and sold enoVate, a consumer insights and digital strategy firm based in Shanghai where he lived for over five years.

John holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and a master’s from Johns Hopkins University. He lives with his family in Bozeman, Montana where he enjoys living close to nature and outdoor activities.
