Priya Goswami

Priya Goswami is a filmmaker with a rich background in documentary and short film production, having worked independently from 2011 to 2020. During this time, they received the IAWRT international grant, achieved recognition with the Eyeka prize, and garnered global attention for their documentary 'A Pinch of Skin.' In 2020, Priya co-founded and became the Chief Executive Officer of Mumkin App, while also pursuing fellowships with Mozilla and the Center for AI and Digital Policy. They co-founded Sahiyo in 2015 and were awarded the German Chancellor Fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation from 2018 to 2019. Priya holds a Bachelor of Arts from Delhi University, a Post Graduate Diploma from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, and a Post Graduation degree from the National Institute of Design.
